Gnosys is a multidisciplinary science and technology company who offer a way for our clients to accelerate their innovation ambitions. We use a variety of problem solving techniques including routine laboratory analysis, advanced experimental and desk-based research and analysis.
|1994||Gary Stevens founds the Polymer Research Centre (PRC) at the University of Surrey and is appointed as its Director|
|1999||Gary Stevens founds the University of Surrey Environmental Body, is appointed Director and is appointed as a Research Professor – PRC annual income exceeds £1M.|
|2002||The PRC moves to a larger purpose built laboratory and wins several joint development contracts and large EPSRC and EC grants|
|2006||The PRC spins out of the University and becomes a stand-alone R&D company called Gnosys. Keeps close associations with the University|
|2010||Gnosys continues to grow and moves to the Research Park in Guildford where it has its head office and materials laboratory.|
|2014||Gnosys builds a second advanced materials laboratory on the Park for synthetic chemistry, polymer and nano processing and analysis|
|2016||New self-healing dielectric fluids and solid polymers developed for application in power cables and the energy sector|
|2018||Gnosys licenses self-healing technologies, expands the activity internationally and engages the Chinese electrical insulation market|
